March 18, 1212

And that therefore I may not claim any lord other than you and your successors as provost. For greater security, I agree to give to you, as was customary to give you predecessor provosts, for the rest of my life, annually on the kalends of October, one pair of pullets or four deniers, whichever I shall elect. And I, Guilabertus, provost, agree with you Pere de Comalada, for myself and for the Church of Vic, to maintain and defend you and yours wherever as our own possessions.
Done on the 15 kalends of April in the year of the Lord 1211. Signed Pere de Comalada. hoc enacts and signs this. Signed Vidal de Santa Cecília, bailiff. Signed Bernat Coqui. Signed Bernat de Prat Santa Cecília. Signum Bernat de Soler. I, Gilabert de Muntral, provost for the month of October, sign.
Peter, priest, who wrote this on the day and in the year as above.
