Berenguer de Sentfores manumits Ermessendis and her children and possessions for 11 ternal sous of Barcelona.

December 23, 1269.

Be it known to all that I, Berenguer de Sentfores, for myself and my successors, by this public instrument absolve and release [diffinio] without any reservation on my part or by any of mine you, Ermessendis, daughter of Pere Foget, deceased, and his wife Maria of the parish of Sentfores, along with all your children and all your and their possessions, movable and immovable which you now or shall have. Such that, moreover, I affirm that neither I nor any successor of mine nor anyone acting for me or in my name shall nor can demand or require anything of you, your children or possessions by reason of lordship wherever you are or wherever you dwell. By reason of this release made by me to you, I acknowledge receipt of eleven Barcelona sous of ternal coinage, renouncing any exception by reason of uncounted money.
Done 10 kalends of January in the year of the Lord 1269.
